Our Summer : The Summer That Started It All

Elara Avramidis- Sixteen, stubborn, sassy, caring, and the type of person who hides her true feelings from people, no matter how close she is with them. As the oldest of three sisters, Penelope (Thirteen) and Ava (Eleven)- she's always been protective over the people she cares about most. But everything changes when she returns to Korinth, Greece for the summer after two years away. Although she lives in Toronto with her family, Greece has always felt like home. Her dad grew up in Korinth and stayed close with his best friend who also happens to have three daughters- Gianna (Eighteen), Katerina (Fifteen) and Daniella (Twelve) -became more than just best friends to Elara and her sisters, they became family. Despite the distance the six girls stayed inseparable, and nothing could ever change that. The second she's back, Elara is thrown back into her best friends chaotic lifestyle full of parties, beach nights, drama, freedom, and their friend group. But suddenly Elara finds herself stuck in something she never wanted: an unwanted love triangle. Former best friends Alex Onomos and Luka Minodis turned complete rivals after a falling out, both coming from rival towns and can barely stand each other. The only problem? Elara happens to fall for not one but both of them and they both start falling for the same girl not knowing the other feels the same way. And Elara never wanted to be stuck in the middle of any of it. As the summer goes on, friendships are tested, feelings get messy, and Elara starts realizing that the people around her see parts of her she spent years trying to hide. Through heartbreak, jealousy, fun nights and the kind of friendships built on loyalty and always being there for each other, Elara is forced to question everything she thought she wanted, all while time is limited.
