A fantastical demon conspiracy that threatens to uproot the rotten system that holds it together.

Nadesai, the lowly half demon half human, remains at the bottom of that system. Demon society requires a constant supply of human souls to function, and it remains the district's job to recruit the cream of the crop. The upcoming election will select the next student who goes to the surface and dish out hell.

Nadesai, powerless, magicless, and far too human to have any chance of success, leaves him soundly in the dust of the recruits and magician sects. He's resigned to a life outside the chaos and expects nothing. But little did he know, this year the election would be different. People would mindlessly follow a new nobody; somebody with infinite charms, charisma, and a secret seduction of power. Candidates go missing, people stop thinking, posters vanish, and polls landslide.

But only Nadesai notices. Soon enough, he would uncover the greatest conspiracy in this game of death. And he would be the only one to stop it.
