The Rizal Gambit

At the prestigious boarding school of Our Lady of Atonement Institute, where reputation is everything and tradition is never questioned. Each year, the school held a theatrical play, students prepared a performance inspired by Noli Me Tángere.

But before the curtains could rise, the play began.

A student is found dead in the dressing room, dressed in costume and from the very play they were meant to perform. Standing closest to the body is Seri, a scholar who never truly belonged among Benguet's elite heirs. With no power and no name to protect her, she becomes the easiest person to blame.

Then, the killings continue.

Each death mirrors the darker themes of Rizal's literature. And with her scholarship slipping, Seri has no choice but to prove her innocence. Forced into an alliance with the group of people she hates, she begins uncovering the things that connect the victims to the story.

Because within the walls of the institute, someone believes they are finishing Rizal's revolution.
