Everyone in the city of Corvin is in mourning, for their beloved lord has just been assassinated. Everyone except his son, that is. Vallum views his father's death as a path to freedom. He's always been considered too small and weak to be of use, but now he has a chance to prove himself. In his search for the assassins, Vallum must gain his people's respect. It's a task that proves more challenging than any could have expected.
