Evelyn-Mae Green has been living on Lilac Ave. for a year now after having moved from England to California.
Everything was going decent for her; she had a best friend, her twin brother and good grades.
That was the unique thing about Evelyn-Mae, she much preferred to sit at home -tucked away from society -with a good book whenever she had free time. Free time was scarce in her world as she juggled her school work and three part-time jobs in order to save money for her college fund.
Something she didn't expect was to see that a well-known guy 'Alec Carter' has moved back to town and he was living with his Nan in the house across the street.
Will his bad boy attitude fit into Evelyn-Mae's life? Or will he be oblivious to her existence like everyone else?

With this "total package" comes a heavy toll - more like an endless buffet of annoying verbal comebacks. Yeah, he is one of those and wastes no time letting everyone know. One thing brings them together and one thing tears them apart. The storm that happens in between may not be the hardest to solve, after all, what would be a storm without lightening and thunder? Scarlet just wants to be left alone and finish high school as she moved away from her home. People at her old school saw her as odd and she only had two best friends that were left back in London when she moved. She is forced into a new school being the new girl and hating the people in the school. Everybody seemed to enjoy drama and teasing the new girl relentlessly but she knows how to stand up for herself and she can be more dangerous than they think.
