Belonging

Ivan is a young man trapped in a home ruled by grief and alcohol. His father, unable to cope with the loss of his wife, turns his pain into anger, anger that Ivan endures in silence. After another late shift at the bar where he works, Ivan is forced into a car with his intoxicated father. What begins as a familiar ride filled with insults and threats ends in a devastating crash.

Ivan wakes in a hospital, unable to speak and unsure of what comes next. As he struggles to piece together the events of that night, he must confront the reality of his past and the uncertain future waiting beyond the hospital walls.
