Thousands of years ago, Humans and Mermaids were mortal enemies. Humans would hunt mermaids for sport, wanting to take them to show off their wealth. As time passed, less mermaids were seen and hunted, soon integrating into society. Due to the inhuman abilities mermaids held, they were often seen in the military, in special task forces that revolve around the ocean, their territory.

Gary Sanderson was your best friend, and had been friends since middle school. You, of course, also were in his friend group, outside of school. Though that was before Roach graduated before you and disappeared with the others.

7 years. That's how long it had been since you haven't been in contact with Roach, or any of the others.

Ok so I just wanted to make this fic to feed my delusions. Originally I wanted it to be an oc x canon fic but I went against it. Though something will be based off of my Oc, like y/n's callsign, which will be Moth, along with the backstory (be prepared for some basic ass back story). SOMETHINGS will be the same as the canon and I am sorry if there is mischaracterization. (I watched the reboot gameplays and saw too many Roach clips....)
