Almost Something

Erina Lim and Kevin Lucas Delos Reyes have never quite fit into a proper definition.

Not quite strangers.
Not quite friends.
And definitely never lovers.

For years, they have existed in each other's orbit, drifting apart, snapping back together - always at the most inconveniently convenient timing.

Now in their thirties, with a marriage ending on one side and another failed relationship on the other, distance is no longer as safe as it used to be.

Because some connections don't simply fade with time.
They linger where distance was supposed to be enough.

And maybe... unfinished things were never meant to stay unfinished - especially the ones that never truly had the chance to begin.
