"Yes Ann Marie." I reluctantly walked the cold hallway that lead to a dusty staircase which lead down to the kitchen. I swung open the door to reveal the peasant cooks who looked at me with their tired eyes. "The princess wants her tea." I said simply. I heard a slight moan from the audience. We are all used to it, We have waited on Ann Marie since her birth.

She has everything, except a taste of the real world. She is a typical teenage girl. Her father keeping her locked up in the castle. She is misunderstood and can be a brat. She just needs someone to open her eyes, let her see the world around her. Her hope comes when a cheeky lad with blue eyes comes from Mullingar, Ireland to work in the castle.

But when her father arranges her marriage at age eighteen, what will happen? Will it throw a wrench in all her dreams of escaping this God forsaken castle?
