Haru was the residential school bookworm, rarely did he ever speak to someone that was not interested in either literature or swimming. He was referred as cold-hearted and self-centered and others never actually got to know his personality before giving him a label. He was practically a nobody. A loner.

Makoto was the high school sweetheart, everyone loved him, even the teachers. He was always kind to others and easily got into conversations that were able to bring smiles to everyones faces around him, the exact opposite of Haru.

But one thing that shocked a lot of people, was when Makoto and Haru actually became friends with each other.
