Twenty-One year old Mary Scott never wanted to leave sunny San Diego, but after a new job offer as a nurse, she finds herself uprooted to the unforgiving streets of New York City. Trading beaches for brownstones and palm trees for graffiti-tagged alleyways, Mary feels like a stranger in a city that never slows down.
Desperate to carve out her own space, Mary was never good at directions, especially in an unfamiliar place like this. A wrong turn leads her to the front of a worn-down bar that looked deserted from the outside, marked with a symbol she's seen spray-painted all over the neighborhood - a black crown dripping in red.
It's the mark of The prime legion, one of the most notorious underground crews in the city.
