I wrap my arms around my body protectively, finding solace in the far corner of the room. His eyes remain locked on mine.

"I'm not going to hurt you," He says quietly. "I've only come here because you need me."

"What the hell would I need you for?"

Replying with silence, he reaches into the back pocket of his dark jeans, revealing a small piece of paper. His hauntingly deep gaze is heavy with something I can't read. It trails between me and the folded sheet between his fingers as he sets it on my pillow.

"You already know."

One moment, Nelly's living life- Prepping for med school, working that summer job and getting ready to be an adult. The next, she finds herself trapped in a red-airspace Prison World with two other strangers.
Five years later, in a place where there are supposedly no others, a meeting with a certain stranger claiming to know how to get them out leads to the unfolding of a web of lies.
