On December 6th, 1989, Astoria Towerglash's life fractures. Her mother walks away without looking back. Her father drowns himself slowly in alcohol and rage. And Astoria learns the most important lesson of all - survival begins in silence. Alone in a house thick with tension, she studies patterns instead of people. She memorizes footsteps. She tracks moods. She teaches herself not to flinch. When the world inside her goes quiet, she doesn't panic - she adapts. But when her father's drinking finally ends in death, Astoria is pushed into a system that was never built to protect children like her. The orphanage is supposed to be a fresh start. Instead, it becomes the place where something colder begins to take shape. Because Astoria doesn't break. She observes. And the world is about to change in ways no one is prepared for.

Tender

Struggles have never been so beautiful. TENDER by FULLOFMOON is an exploration of the human experience, delving into abstract yet universal struggles. Through experimental use of various literary devices, classical references, political theories, economic concepts, and diverse structures, it addresses uncomfortable emotions, world systems, existential questions, and infatuations (with people, things, and the self.) By employing relatable subject matter and simple language, TENDER seeks to show how deeply beautiful our tender encounters truly are. Book cover photo credits: Reylia Slaby - Dagny Tarver
