Florence Barnes had kept her distance from the world of super-thing's since 2004. After everything done to her under Project Bluebird, she wanted nothing to do with the superhero machine, or America for that matter.

But her older brother, Bucky Barnes, had a way of wearing down even the strongest resolve. When mysterious new super soldiers began surfacing, he came to her with a simple argument: if someone was repeating the past, someone who had survived it needed to stop it.

Reluctantly, Florence was pulled back into the fight.

And along the way, she met what quickly became her new least favourite person in the world: John Walker
