Liliana Doe-Clarke is a quiet, shy, plus-size college student who keeps to herself, preferring her books and art over crowded social spaces. Her campus life is increasingly difficult because of being bullied, and her home life isn't much better. This leaves her feeling isolated and unsure of her own worth.

Sawyer Russo is everything Liliana is not. Popular, athletic, and outstanding on both the football field and in the boxing ring. On the surface, he seems like he has everything figured out. But beneath his tough exterior is someone who notices more than people expect.
When their worlds unexpectedly collide, Sawyer begins to see Liliana in a way no one else has.
