Mitch was a guy who usually kept to himself. Living with all four of his brothers in a medium-sized apartment wasn't at all ideal, especially as one of the middle children.
He would've never expected that he'd end up bonding with the sweet girl in the apartment across from his, since he figured he would only ruin her life. But her light seemed to only overpower his darkness, which was something only she could do.

"...Mitch, can I be honest with you?" I asked as he carefully rinsed the shampoo out of my hair, shielding my eyes from the water.
"Of course. Always," he was quick to reply, wringing out my hair without pulling or tugging on it at all.

"...That... wasn't my first time," I admitted after a long moment of hesitation, not knowing what he would think of it.

I was expecting him to look disappointed or even disgusted-or at the very least surprised. But instead, he calmly took my hand in his and lifted it up, brushing his lips against my inner wrist.
"I don't care if it's your first time, or you hundredth time," he murmured against my skin, "all that matters is that it was between me and you, and no one else."
