This book is about a 15 year old girl named Amethyst. She is in the world after death and in this world, you get sorted into 1 of three categories: Good, Evil, or InBetween. (Just to let you know, the people in this world can have children and this is a Kingdom with kings and queens and such.) When Amethyst's parents are killed, she goes to live with her abusive aunt.
