Opposites Attract

This is a story about two opposite people: Jake and Ann. Jake was a bubbly, warm, 23-year-old college student. He waved at babies, laughed in serious situations, apologized even when nothing was his fault, smiled at strangers, held doors open a second too long, tripped over air, and believed that little smiles were life-changing. In the simplest ways, he was love, literally. Everyone thought he'd find a girl who could easily match his energy, but fate had other plans. He fell in love with his own boss: the cold, serious, reserved, and sharp - but dangerously attractive - Ann Kim. Ann was a young succesful CEO, having her own company at just 25. She was nothing like Jake. She never looked twice at a child, was always nonchalant, only said sorry when something was entirely her fault, remained sharp and composed, and believed that letting people get close was a horrible idea.
