In the village of Thornwick-Under-Moss, hedgehogs dream in colour...but only because of the silver honey, made by moon-bees from flowers that bloom only at night. When the bees vanish without a trace, the village doesn't collapse. It just slowly, quietly becomes less than itself. Less vivid. Less wondering. Less alive to its own life.
