Highschool Detective follows Serena Hayes, a clever student at Cedar Heights, whose life flips overnight when Serena's mother suddenly loses her job. The official explanation sounds simple, but Serena notices the details do not add up, and the timing matches a bigger problem spreading through Cedar Heights: the school's funding is being quietly cut, redirected, or stolen.
With the adults dodging questions and students starting to feel the fallout, Serena turns her curiosity into a mission. Chasing receipts, and sealed records, she uncovers a trail that links her mother's firing to a much deeper scheme. Now Serena has to expose the truth before Cedar Heights collapses, and before the people behind it realize the "kid detective" is close enough to ruin everything.
