Monsters have always lived among humans. Arata is one of them.

Or he was, until the night a mysterious and eccentric huntress captures him and binds him to her will. Forced to serve her until he accomplishes duties she refuses to share, he can only swallow his pride and dream his escape.

But everything changes when an impossible offer surfaces: a chance to grant their darkest, most guarded wishes. Now forced to ally themselves with the very person sworn to destroy their kind, the two must learn to trust each other long enough to survive.

As foes and allies arrive and secrets unravel, the line between captor and captive begins to blur.

With both their worlds on the brink of war, Arata must choose between clinging to the life he's always known, or embrace the horror he was born to be.

Are monsters born or simply created? Maybe both.
