The Sound of Our War

Title: The Sound of Our War
Two strangers connected by a song on a moonlit beach. Two enemies colliding in the chaos of university life. Some melodies are impossible to forget-even if you hate the person playing them.
Six years ago,
Emi was a broken girl seeking refuge by the sea, her hands bloodied by the cruelty of her parents. A mysterious girl with an angelic voice appeared out of the dark, singing "More Than Words" and leaving behind a white bunny handkerchief that became Emi's only source of hope. Now a 3rd-year student and the university's most notorious prankster, Emi uses her guitar to drown out her past and her pranks to drive the campus elite crazy.
Bonnie is the girl who has it all: the wealth, the "Campus Crush" title, and the role of University President. She is high-strung, perfectionistic, and determined to keep her school orderly. But Bonnie harbors a secret memory of a girl with glasses on a beach whose guitar skills gave her the only moment of true comfort she's ever known.
When they meet again in the lecture halls of Bangkok, they don't recognize each other. To Bonnie, Emi is a delinquent who needs to be expelled. To Emi, Bonnie is a snobbish "Princess" who deserves every bucket of slime thrown her way. But when a high-stakes music competition forces them into an unwanted partnership, the "Love" between the strings and the voice begins to resurface. Between the pranks and the pride, they are about to realize that the person they hate the most is the only one who can finish their song.
