She is the Princess of Light, golden and devastatingly warm, the kind of person who fills every room she walks into without ever trying to. She has no idea what she does to the world around her. No idea what she does to him.

Taehyung watched from a distance for longer than he will ever admit. Patient. Quiet. Certain in a way that should have frightened him but never did. She was soft edges and pure light and everything his darkness had absolutely no business wanting and he wanted her anyway, completely, in that still and consuming way of his that leaves no room for negotiation.

Taehyung has known how this ends for a long time. He's just been waiting for her to find out too.
