It has been four years since the Siren War, about 80% of the Human Population on Earth is dead, and most of the Earth was rendered uninhabitable. The military alliance known as Azur Lane has been transformed into a Emergency Government, centered as a Military Dictatorship out of necessity.

In the last bastion of humanity, the UNAL Mega-City of New Azuria, the festivities of the UNAL's Founding 4th Anniversary was at full swing with the long awaited G1 Race, the Kyoto Derby was about to start. However, the race was cancelled when a Temporal Storm struck right in the middle of New Azuria, causing the transfer of the entire city, to Remnant.
