In the olden medieval times secondary gender mattered the most. Omegas and Betas were considered unable to ruel. Omegas were atleast used for great benefits, political marriages and alliance while betas? Treated like a disgrace in an imperial family.

Alphas on the other hand were cherished as they would one day inherit the kingdoms, empire and dynasties. Omegas were treated with kindness and gentleness so possess the characteristics of naturing the younger ones. Those 2 genders mattered to the imperial families, royal and nobles.

The biggest disgrace to the royal family was having a first born Beta, that too born through an emperor and empress. Beta were either kept a secret or kept in presence of strong S-class alpha or Omegas pheromones in case of differentiation. That didn't work it meant it was the beta's fault.
