Eleanor Evelyn Dutton, or better known as Nora, is the third child and eldest daughter to John Dutton and his late wife Evelyn Dutton. She was born 2 months after Jaime and was a month old when Jaime was adopted by her parents.

Since her birth Nora always seemed to never be liked being held, cuddled or kissed unless she was being feed. She preferred being on the ground or in her crib till she could walk. Nora learnt how to walk very early on and was always on her own, never playing with her siblings. It did worry her parents but as she grew up it went away. She was protective over Beth and Kayce as she was older than them.

As time went on Nora and her mother butted heads a lot. A tragic incident led Nora to hate her mother. Nora become very defiant to her mother and soon her father. She had no love for the ranch either.

When she was 15, she ran away, got on a plane and never come back. Now, 21 years later she is back in Montana on business, having become a famous makeup artist and animal activist.
