Down Came Jack

When Jack finds himself unable to run from the Delancy Brothers, he is soaked until almost all the blood is drawn from his body. Before he dies, Jack meets Crutchie one last time before everything he sees turns into a surprising bright light.

When 15-year-old Crutchie finds a limp, unconscious boy lying on top of a storm grate, he obviously rushes to get help. But when the boy wakes up in the hospital a couple days later, how could the boy be from the Victorian era and not have any memory of being in this time? And how might the boy's emotions spike after meeting a certain person at school?
