The world is run by a group of ingenious humans. The Institute. Together they create a chip that suppresses emotions, the main one being love. 

Love is the soil that holds the root of disharmony. 

Teris hates it. The world is dull too him, so he tries to fix it. Breaking into a subsidiary of the Institute and trying to increase the general flow of emotions he mistakenly sets of a VIRUS.

 The line between love and obsession blurs.
