The world of Bismuth, a place where Magic and Science coexist and are treated as religions. Along with these two contradicting forces, humans are accompanied by three more races; the elves, the most devoted followers of magic, the Shapeshifters, a race occupied by creatures that change their aspects at will, and lastly the Halfbreeds, a race that coexists with animals, and have animal aspects.
In ancient times these races all lived in Harmony, until two countries each representing the religions waged war on each other, the outcome being Science defeating, and slaving Magic. Different organizations appeared to help fight this slavery, one of them being GUILD.
Jett Cobalt, a young man who joins GUILD after causing an uproar with the elf Gemma Mercury is sent to do different missions across the world. Uncovering the truth and the reason behind Alighieri's actions, this immature man is forced to question his reason of wanting to join in the first place.

Now she must embark on living in the human world that she never knew leaving behind the only life, the only people she's ever known.
