George hated the hospital - which is pretty unfortunate considering he desperately needs a kidney transplant. He simply didn't know the day would come fora donor to become available but low and behold it did and now he has to spend a couple of weeks in the hospital. He thought it would be boring, how very wrong he was. While on the ward George meets many interesting new people he's proud to call friends, this includes a girl with terminal cancer.
George knows it's dangerous to bond with someone like this.
Delilah know's it too.
But against all odds they ignore the inevitability of their situation and become friends anyway- and it changes George's outlook on life forever.
