Synopsis:

Kaelen always knew he would die young. Cursed since birth with the Mark of the Eclipse, his shadow does not obey the laws of light. While other children played, he learned to live with his own distorted reflection - one that whispered secrets no child should ever hear.
In the world of Nyxterra, humanity survives huddled inside fortress-cities, protected by pillars of eternal light. Beyond them lies the Sea of Shadows, where creatures dwell that can drive anyone mad if stared at for too long. When the great barrier of his city is corrupted by an entity from the Abyssal Void, Kaelen is dragged outside.
There, he discovers the truth: the curse he carries is no accident. His shadow is the key to an ancient power buried for ages - but awakening it demands a price few have ever paid: the sacrifice of one's own humanity.
Now hunted by those who were meant to protect him and guided by a voice rising from the darkness itself, Kaelen must decide: embrace the monster within to save a world that has always rejected him, or allow the shadows to consume everything.
