Soft lies

Since ancient times, medicine cats have been the most trusted cats in the Clans. They heal the wounded, interpret signs from StarClan, and guide their Clan through every hardship. No cat would ever think to doubt them. especially not one as gentle as PaleBreeze.

Soft-spoken and devoted, PaleBreeze has always done everything she can to care for WindClan. To most cats, she is calm as a quiet wind, always ready with comforting words and steady paws.

But as moons pass, something begins to feel wrong.

Cats start dying faster than they should. Illnesses grow worse instead of better. And while Pale Breeze insists that StarClan is punishing the Clan for unseen mistakes, whispers of unease begin to spread through the camp.

Some cats still trust her without question.

Others are starting to wonder if the danger facing WindClan isn't coming from StarClan at all... but from someone much closer.
