Every day's a struggle for Broken- hyper-sexual, late twenties , Avaia. She spends majority of her time working at the club as a stripper, indulging in sexual activities cause she felt it gave her power, and more money of course- though in her youthful years, she knew she'd never want that for herself.
Lael- in his early twenties, recently drafted with the Washington commanders, he was in the nfl, that's all he wanted, that's all he was raised to want. Lael was seemingly perfect, but deep down underneath the facade he so desperately needed to keep up, was just a emotional boy who was diagnosed with level one austism, he knew he was different, from down to all the fidgeting to shutting down, needing extra time to answer important questions, stadium noise too painful for his ears- but he ignored it- he had a game to win, people that counted on him.
These two very different souls have one thing in common though, they both oh so desperately just want to be loved. Whether it be within themselves or within each other, though it seems the whole world may be against it.

When a fire takes everything from Mia, her parents, her home, and the life she once knew, she is adopted by her mother's best friend, Jules Kingsley. Moving into the Kingsley mansion should be a fresh start, but her new brother, Damon, has other plans.
Damon is ruthless, possessive, and impossible to avoid. He's made it his mission to remind Mia that she doesn't belong, and their hatred for each other burns brighter with every interaction. But living under the same roof means there is no escape, no distance, no way to keep the lines from blurring.
He wants control. He wants her submission. He wants her, no matter how wrong it is. And the more Mia resists, the more his obsession grows, twisting every fight into something darker, every stolen glance into a game neither of them can win.
