“I still love her,” he whispered tearfully at me. eyes cast down in guilt and shame.
“Okay,” I tried to keep my voice even while at the same time, trying to stop the tears from falling. ‘Don’t cry Rhynn. You’re stronger than that.’
“I'm sorry,” and he finally looked at me, with eyes full of unshed tears as he tried to touch me.
“Hands off!” I said in a joking manner, but failed terribly as I choked on my tears. Our moments together flashed in my eyes.
“I’m so so sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you or lead you on,” he kneeled down in front of me.
“But you did,” I whispered as the first of my many tears started falling. “I can’t even hate you because I still love you!”
“And I hate because no matter what I do, I still fucking love you!”
