American figure skater Isabella Ivanova has spent her entire career being perfect. Skating "safe", silver medals, skating to please others, struggling to maintain a persona created by her parents, she makes a shocking change when she realises that skating carefully for the judges, the federation or for the expectations that follow her last name doesn't win competitions, or beat Ilia Malinin.

Isabella wants more, she wants to land quads, she wants to be powerful and strong on ice.. but without the help of her community, she is forced to take a risk and leave her toxic coach to train under the Malinins.

With nationals coming up, will she have time to master the jumps that could make or break her career? Will love be a part of that journey.. or a danger she cant afford.
