In the year 2526, humans are controlled by vampires and have been for the last 500 years. To avoid rebellions humans are split into Categories at the age of 21 between Worthlessers, Breeders, Feeders, Warriors and pets. Until Angalic Harrison Swanson comes along and shakes up the barriers between vampires and humans.
Angalic seeks the attention of Dom or Don as the goal was to be categorized to one of them as their pet. Once in place, she was supposed to bring down the reign of the two men responsible for tarnishing her family name. Until it all backfires when she gets the wrong attention from Dom when he claims her as his mate.
After married to Dom, Angalic knows it only a matter of time before she is turned into a vampire. But her goal to free the Human from the vampire is her soul main focus. Yet with Don placed at her side by Dom's command to keep his wife in check, getting past the two vampires who she was supposed to hate, proves to be harder than she ever expected it would be.
