"Who are you?"
You looked to find a boy clad in a school uniform with black tussled curls standing a few feet away.

"I'm Miles, I live here."

Miles. Shouldn't he be at boarding school? Well, he was pale enough to be mistaken for a ghost so maybe that's why he was here.

"But seriously, you should go."

You raised your hands in defeat, but if it came to it, were you really prepared for an encounter? Not really, defeat had been foreseeable since the moment you stepped foot into the hallway.

"My bad."

Your sister Kate gets a job as a teacher to a little girl of a rich family. Come to find this family also has a son who unexpectedly shows up in the middle of the night, already emitting creepy energy like the rest of this place.

I highly recommend watching the movie before reading this even if I'm quite literally having to go back and watch it scene by scene while writing this...
