Grayson is gone for 7 months and Damian is alone to handle his distant Father and the family that seems to want to have nothing to do with him. Not that Damian cares. He doesn't. If anyone could find a way to care less than Damian they still wouldn't be able to beat the lack of care Damian held. Because he didn't care when he walked into his Father's study just to get dismissed a moment later. He didn't care that the only time Todd talked to him was to complain to Damian about what an ingrate he was. He definitely didn't care that Drake wasn't living at the manor anymore and said he's drop by but never does.

Damian Wayne did not care that he would basically be completely and utterly alone for 7 months and would spend those seven months lying to Grayson about all the "hang outs" he was doing with the family to keep Grayson from worrying that Damian was alone.

So he lied. "Todd took me on a ride on his motorcycle." "Drake came to my art show at school." "Father and I talk a lot on patrol."

Anything to keep Grayson from worrying. The issue? Damian was starting to wish his lies actually came true. Because like it or not, Damian had never felt so forgotten in his life.

It's a good thing he doesn't care.
