Ink is the creator. His job is to create new aus and sanses. This wouldn't be a problem, if not for his lacking memory, leading to a buildup of half finished aus. Error takes care of these though. However, one day Ink was creating a Sans, and got called away, forgetting the template all together. However, the Sans didn't. With a blank personality, blank SOUL, and blank everything, the Sans left the doodle sphere quickly. He wondered aimlessly before stumbling upon the Bad Sanses. Nightmare, king of negativity and the leader of said Bad Sanses, immediately sees opportunity in a template of a Sans, and takes the Sans in. Blank didn't know what he got himself into

This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
