I'm writing my own story so I can read it later. ----------- Malang standing alone in the darkness of his room.His hands tremble as he grips the edge of the table, as if holding on for dear life, trying to steady the storm inside. His breath catches in his throat, heart racing as memories flood back, too painful to hold. "But I couldn't let myself have it. I couldn't be the person you needed. I couldn't be your light, not when I'm drowning in my own darkness." Tears continue to fall, his hands now pressing against his eyes as if to stop the flood, but they won't stop coming. His voice cracks, as though it's too fragile to hold everything inside. "So I ran. I disappeared. Because it was easier than facing you, than facing the truth: I'm too damaged to ever be good for you." -------------- This story will follow the pattern of Neel and Malang's actual arc.
