The year is 2513, December. It's been years since the Red Marker was discovered upon Aegis VII, the loss of the USG ISHIMURA and Titan Station. The Marker has been sporadically cloned on planets, followed by an overall expansion of Unitology, spreading like a cancer. Jonah Nomura, a new acolyte to the Church, has been tasked among with several others to a "pilgrimage" to Marker Shroud V on the planet of Oedipus.
