In the year 1896, newspaper journalist Ren Lavelle was dealing with his own problems, from his corrupt boss to financial issues. But like everyone else, he too was unaware of the coming danger from Mars, and soon, the way of life he knew would disappear, and would be coming face-to-face with the Earth's worst enemy. . .
