Cassandra is just a normal teenage girl - aside from her silliness. When being her childish self with her best friend at the Park, something bad happens. Her best friend, Sammy, disappears. The night of her best friend's abduction,she is visited by his kidnapper. She is forced to follow him blindly into the middle of nowhere, without anything being explained. She is being forced to complete a series of obstacle courses. Sounds harmless right? Only it's just the opposite. These obstacle courses mean or life or death; there is no in between. If she cannot survive the tests, the people she cares deeply for will no longer exist...because of her - but no stress. How can she be sure that she can save the only people she  cares about , when she's not even sure she can save herself?
