HOME - Jasper Hale x OC (Twilight)

Ariane was just an innocent child, living in an orphange from birth, until she had to be adopted by a wealthy couple. There, she was more of a slave than a child, doing all the housework for barely anything to live on. Still, she considered this an ordinary life, until it wasn't. At 10 years old, she discovered in an incident, that she could teleport to the street a few blocks away, although not consciously. From that point on, she was beat even more, living in the same cycle of cleaning, cooking, parents coming home angry, teleporting away in fear, then being beat up even more for running away. When she was 16, it got so bad that she could only teleport away at the last second, into an empty alleyway...
Carlisle and Jasper were just taking a short walk in the small, remote town, when a painfully familiar scent wafted over them, instantly silencing any conversation they were having...

This is a Twilight movies- based fanfiction with Jasper Hale as the main focus, and his relationship with my OC. The story vaguely follows the movie plot, but not actually all of it. I took scenes from the movie and reimagined them, building my own version of the story upon those scenes. I don't focus on Bella and Edward, here they are only a sort of side-plot. I took a more psychologically grounded approach to the movies and deviated to a different direction, but still using the original plot.
I have not read the books and currently don't plan on it, so if you feel like I misinterpreted some major principle, write it in comment and I'll check if I can do anything about it.
