Pigeonholed

Griselda Pules is a boring girl, the only unique scruple of her otherwise monotonous personality being her ardent love of science. However, the road to her future in the sciences is blockaded by the death of her grandfather, after which she must take up the carrier pigeon business he sustained. At first she's bemused, as pigeons are kind of stupid, but then she must learn to defy what the pigeons expect of her...
