Between the Heartbeats

@Aily1117 began the story "At the Beginning" in June 2021 and published Chapter 2 in July 2022. While @Aily1117 might have completed the story and shared it on another platform, the opening made us curious about how it might have ended.

@Aily1117, I hope you don't mind-your work inspired us in ways we hadn't anticipated. We really like the omegaverse idea of Off and New, so we decided to create our own story, inspired by yours. While we'll include some of your story's key elements, we want to bring our own vision to it, particularly in how we approach the opening and develop the characters. We might be drifting away from Off and New, and it's unclear where the story is heading at the moment.
We have never written an omegaverse before, so please be patient with us. We enjoy reading omegaverse stories, but we might make some mistakes.
We will use the individuals' actual names rather than substituting them with unfamiliar characters.

We do not own the characters in this story. The original spark of the idea came from @Aily1117, but my friend and I added our own thoughts and made many modifications. We mean no offense; we just thought it was a creative story worth sharing, and some readers might enjoy it.
