Where the River Ends

Seven years ago the river took Fyodor. That's what everyone says. But Sergei isn't so sure.

When Sergei's best friend disappears during a blizzard by the Tuloma River in Murmansk, Russia, the village settles on the simplest explanations: the river, the cold, the wild. Life moves on. When a fisherman finds a shoe possibly belonging to Fyodor buried in the mud of the riverbank, the town calls it closure. Sergei calls it a mistake. Back to the place he swore he'd never return to, something just doesn't sit right. Sergei begins to ask questions no one wants answered.
