Being the eldest Wheeler was like waiting for a ticking time bomb to go off while actively trying to put it out, one second you're handling the stress of your younger sister and the next you're listening to your brother rant about some stupid game he plays in your family's basement until odd hours, or maybe you're even hunting down monsters in a realm you never knew existed.

👥: Roseanne, or Rose for short, is a year older than Nancy. She is often portrayed as the "Black Sheep" of the Wheeler family-someone who doesn't quite fit the suburban perfection Karen and Ted strive for. She is the buffer between her siblings and their emotionally distanced parents, and she isn't much different from Nancy, feeding into that "good girl" aesthetic but still finding ways to let herself seep through.

💌: Steve Harrington and Roseanne grew up friends, dating during a middle school phase that involved peer pressuring and forced proximity. The "breakup" cause tension between the two, or more so for Roseanne, especially when she found out he started dating her little sister. Roseanne doesn't hate him, she misses what they were before he became 'King Steve'.

🎬: This is a fanfic based on the show Stranger Things! It follows the plot other than a few added things here or there.
