Aaira Bhaskar and Asher Sharma are both 11th graders and the Deputy Sports Captains of their school, but they share a quiet rivalry. Aaira, 16, is the sunshine of her friend group, known for her bright smile and dimples, though she hides the struggles of a difficult home life. Asher, 17, is calm, competitive, and a science student with a sarcastic side that shows up sometimes.
Their rivalry began when Aaira defeated him in the 800-meter race last year. Since then, Asher sees her as his biggest competition. With her bright energy and his cool sarcasm, they constantly challenge each other, especially on the track.
