Ella, Sam and their family are finally out of the woods. They've finally found peace and recovery in their fresh New York apartment, and relationships and trust between them are stronger than ever. So when a tragedy strikes beloved Sidney Prescott, it seems like their newfound happiness is falling apart all over again.

But the difference this time is that the killer is closer, so close that we can almost see their thoughts. Manipulation, forgiveness and anger become a turmoil, and we will find out exactly just how far they're willing to go... or not.
